Tempany Andersen has worked as a primary therapist at Caron Renaissance for over five years before assuming the position of primary therapist at Caron Ocean Drive and most recently the role of Lead Primary Therapist. Originally from Arizona, Tempany earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2007 and maintained a private practice in Boca Raton, Florida from 2008 – 2010. Tempany is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Addictions Professional. Along with specializations in sex and trauma therapy, Tempany developed expertise in counseling Native American groups while working with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Tempany has written articles and led professional trainings on working with clients with sexual concerns and substance abuse. Tempany has also led a workshop on “Marriage and Recovery” hosted by the Jewish Recovery Center Retreat and Shabbaton. Tempany has been a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida in the role of wish granter for the past 13 years.
