Continuing Care Support

Our Approach to Continuing Care Support

An anchor for alumni clients and families navigating life after treatment, Ocean Drive's Continuing Care services ensure smooth transitions into the real world. Each individual we treat receives a Continuing Care plan designed to support his or her unique needs. Plans provide accountability, establish support systems, guide family recovery, and help to re-define relational roles along the way. All plans involve 24/7 access to Ocean Drive at no additional cost.

Continuing Care plans are ongoing. Clients and families are always welcome to turn to Ocean Drive for help. Our commitment to alumni lasts a lifetime.

What do
care plans involve

Plans support the individual needs of each client and family member, but usually involve counseling sessions and ongoing assessment with an Ocean Drive therapist (via phone call or in person). Plans also connect alumni to therapists and support resources in their hometowns, including fellowship groupsalumni buddies, and services to support specific ancillary needs. The clinical team develops individualized plans prior to the client's discharge.

Alumni support group

Hosted every Monday at Ocean Drive, the Alumni Support Group is a gathering where current and former Ocean Drive clients strengthen each other’s pursuits of sober living. The group has helped countless alumni stay on track, form meaningful relationships, and gain independence in recovery.
