Behavioral Health Expertise

We look at a client's mind, body and spirit.
Behavioral health — the study of an individual’s physical, emotional, social, and psychological well being — informs everything we do at Ocean Drive. Here, we treat more than substance abuse and symptoms. We look at each client’s mind, body, and spirit until we unearth underlying causes of addiction and facilitate deep-seated healing.

Our behavioral health process

From initial contact through Continuing Care, we leave no stone unturned. Prior to admission, clinical case specialists gather information on clients’ medical, social, and professional histories. Upon admittance, the team conducts extensive physical and psychological assessments that inform comprehensive care plans. From then on, personalized interventions target everything from emotional trauma to physical health to spiritual and career growth. As treatment progresses (and the influence of substance subsides) clinicians help clients and families address the underlying issues that fuel addiction. Time and again, the process culminates in strong foundations for lives in recovery.

Clinical expertise

Our team of doctorate and masters-level therapists has decades of experience treating process addictions, substance addictions, behavioral health disorders, and family issues. We are equipped to handle even the most complex the cases with proficiency and compassion.

Cutting edge interventions

Proper brain functioning is an invaluable component of behavioral health treatment. To restore proper functioning, Ocean Drive recommends the following services on a case-by-case basis:
  • Neuroimaging (SPECT-scans, CT scans, and MRI) pinpoints where addiction-induced damage has occurred, thus informing treatment plans.
  • Neurofeedback Therapy, an advanced brain-training therapy, helps restore functioning in those who struggle with addiction or co-occurring disorders.
